The Fenway House Hotel was built in 1918 after the original Hotel burned to the ground. Due to the fire this facility was designed as one of the first fireproof buildings in Southwest Wisconsin. It was built with steel, rock, brick and concrete so that it could stand the test of time. The hotel has gone through remodeling over the years, but much care was given to emphasize the beauty and history of the building.

Had the pleasure of meeting Parker and his family over the weekend while we were traveling through town for two nights. True gentleman that ensured an outstanding stay. He was able to work out the snags in our travel plans and render an accommodation that worked with those I was traveling with. Outstanding customer service. We will be returning again next year for our annual trip to an incredibly beautiful part of the midwest knowing that you can get five star service with a true small town personal touch at a great location.

A step back in time. Loved the whole experience even though it wasn’t in our plan. We called ahead and got a room and a young gentleman helped us without a gripe at 2am. Next morning…..seen him again. JUST as friendly.

Our class reunion was held in the bar area of the Fenway House. We rented the room and brought in our own food and drinks. We could not be happier with how the evening turned out! The staff was responsive to our needs, did everything to accommodate us, and even did some things above and beyond. Highly recommend! There is so much history with this particular building in Fennimore that it’s really heart-warming to see owners and managers recognize that. They have just gotten started on this journey and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this business. The FHS Class of ’84 wishes you nothing but success, and from the great start you’re having, that should not be a problem!
